Before leaving for the East, Paul’s family learned of his decision and supported him in doing so.

But at the end of the service he suffered a broken leg injury, which gave complications to his back.

He could not even get out of bed because of his back, an urgent operation was performed. Now he needs long-term rehabilitation.
